As with most cloth masks, these are not medical grade masks and not suitable for use in a surgical setting or where there would be significant exposure to liquid, bodily or other hazardous fluids, use in a clinical setting, or use in the presence of a high-intensity heat source or flammable gas. These mask do offer a certain level of protection as indicated by the CDC.
You do not even feel them, the adjusters also allow you to set different tension on top and bottom for a better custom face mask fit.
Yes the masks are meant to be reusable and machine washed. While a standard wash setting will work, it is suggested to use the gentle cycle when possible with hang dry to preserve the technical fabric.
